About us
The Institute for Technical Physics and Materials Science (acronym: MFA - based on its Hungarian name) is part of the Research Centre for Natural Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA TTK).
MFA is a member of the KFKI - Condensed Matter Research Centre (CMRC), declared a Centre of Excellence by the European Community within the 5th Framework Program (FP5).
MFA is a member of the Hungarian Standards Institution.
