1967-73: Kiev Technical University - Master's degree with first
class honours in Electrical Engineering, 1973.
1994: Candidate of Technical Science, awarded by the Hungarian Academy
of Sciences.
1994: Ph.D., awarded by the Budapest Technical University.
Present positions:
Since 1997: Member of the Committee for Electronic Devices and Technology
of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
Since 1998: Senior Research Fellow with the Hungarian Academy of Sciences,
Research Institute for Technical Physics and Materials Science, Budapest.

Direct research and development experiences:
Research work in the field of physics and electrical characterisation
of semiconductor-semiconductor, metal-semiconductor and metal-insulator-semiconductor
(MIS) structures, semiconductor materials, semiconductor and insulator
thin films. Development of semiconductor devices. Explanation of different
electrical anomalies and development of several methods of evaluation for
extracting physical parameters from the electrical characteristics of
MIS structures and Schottky junctions.
General professional experience:
Experience in planning, writing, presenting, and reviewing scientific
papers, reviews, project proposals, reports, and other documents. Experience
in organisation, management and administration of research projects.
Publications, citations:
Authored more, than 200 papers in national and international journals
and conference proceedings, presented about 230 papers at international
conferences and workshops, among them 17 invited or plenary talks, edited
two volumes of conference proceedings. More than 300 independent citations
on these works are known.
Conference organization:
Regular participation in organization of international conferences
and workshops. Organization of the “First International Workshop on Semiconductor
Nanocrystals, SEMINANO2005"
in Budapest.
