As a part of the short-term interinstitutional mobilities the Institute of Technical Physics and Materials Science (HUN-REN EK MFA) have organised a training in May 2025, dedicated to transmission electron microscopy and lamellae preparation by conventional techniques and focused-ion beam method.
The training was held in Budapest at the MFA campus and led by Dr. Ildikó Cora , senior research fellow of the Thin-Film Physics Laboratory. The training was attended by the Ph.D. students from the CUBES founding institutions all over Europe. During this intensive training, multiple advanced gallium oxide samples were prepared and investigated – the achieved results will be disseminated in form of peer-reviewed publications.
